The NBA is ready to get back to work this Monday with a monster 11-game slate of action set up for tonight. There are some really nice matchups to get the week underway including the Cavs and Raptors meeting in the East, the Celtics taking on “The Beard” in an inter-conference game, and the Jazz and Lakers meeting in a Western Conference showdown. Those are just some of the matchups which make tonight a great one for DFS fantasy basketball, so get your lineup locked in with the help of the DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

More from DraftKings

With a total of 22 teams scheduled to take the floor, tonight is the busiest night we’ll have in the NBA until December 23, two days before the Christmas Showcase, when the NBA has 14 games on the schedule. Tonight’s 11 games start at 7:00 when the Nuggets face the Sixers in Philadelphia. Three games start at 7:30–Cavs @ Raptors, Wizards @ Nets, and Thunder @ Hawks. The NBATV  game of the night features the Celtics in Houston to face the James Harden and Rockets at 8:00 while at the same time the Blazers are in Chicago, the Spurs visit the Bucks, and the Grizzlies take on the Pelicans.  At 8:30, the Hornets visit the Mavericks followed at 10:30 by a pair of West Coast matchups where the Lakers will face the Jazz and the Warriors host the Pacers. The  Pelicans, Pacers, and Thunder are on the second night of their back-to-backs, while the Blazers are the only team playing tonight who have a game set up tomorrow.

With 22 team’s wroth of starters, there are many of different ways to assemble your fantasy lineup. I’ve selected my top options on the next few slides for today’s FanDuel daily picks. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

Just a reminder that each day in my DraftKings daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub.
