Former Baylor Bears coach Art Briles is suing regents and the vice principal over libel and conspiracy.

The saga between the Baylor Bears and Art Briles will not come to an end. After Briles was dismissed in May due to the program incorrectly handling reports and the failure to report sexual assault and abuse, it appeared that the story was going to be over.

However, Briles isn’t done dealing with the program just yet. According to the Associated Press, Briles is suing three school regents and the vice principal for what he believed to be a conspiracy against him to land another job in college football and slander.

Briles has denied all along that he knew of the reports, and that has led to a rift between him and his former program. He made sure to get his money before he was fired, and things have been messy between the two sides ever since.

Baylor’s football program still played this year in the wake of everything and managed to be ranked as high as No. 8 at one point. They eventually fell back to earth and will face Boise State in the Cactus Bowl.

According to the report, the lawsuit was filed in central Texas and specifically named Chairman Ronald Murff, board members David Harper, J. Cary Gray and Vice President Reagan Ramsower. With how ugly this thing already is after the disgusting actions that took place, it’s likely to get worse.
