A look at how to watch Thursday night’s game between the Iowa State Cyclones and Iowa Hawkeyes online.

Thursday night will have a limited amount of college basketball games before heading into the weekend. The sport will soon be able to get the college sports spotlight with football heading into its postseason, including the upcoming CFP Playoff. So, before that happens, there will be games like Iowa vs. Iowa State taking place. This will emanate from the Carver-Hawkeye Center in Iowa City, IA.

Iowa State has looked effective through its first handful of games. They started the year 5-0, but lost two consecutive games. These were by a combined three points, though, with one of them being in overtime. A game against Omaha would be their redemption as the Cyclones destroyed them, 91-47. Deonte Burton scored 20 points and Donovan Jackson had 15 of his own to lead the team in victory.

Iowa has had a bit of a rough start to the season. After going 3-1, they quickly dropped four of their last five games to drop to 4-6. They somewhat made up for it with a win over Stetson, 95-68, who isn’t the toughest school out there. Cordell Pemsl led the way with 21 points to snap the four-game losing streak of the Hawkeye’s.
