Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant made an unbelievable touchdown grab despite being face guarded by the Detroit Lions’ Johnson Bademosi.

The Dallas Cowboys were in a tight battle with the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football in Week 16. While Dallas had already clinched home-field advantage in the NFC Playoffs, Detroit was leading until this awesome play happened for the Cowboys.

Dallas rookie quarterback Dak Prescott would throw the ball down field to wide receiver Dez Bryant at the Detroit end zone late in the first half. Despite being face guarded by Lions cornerback Johnson Bademosi, Bryant was able to come down with the magnificent touchdown reception after just a few juggles.

The made Dan Bailey PAT after the Bryant touchdown would tie the ball game up at 21 points apiece shortly before halftime in Arlington. Dallas has rarely drawn up a vertical play like this one from Prescott to Bryant this season, being heavily in favor of the mid-field slant or the out-route in the flats.

Prescott is only a rookie, but maybe he is finally starting to develop a rapport with the star wide receiver for the Cowboys in Bryant. Bryant has had his issues as a route-runner for awhile in Dallas, but former starting quarterback Tony Roma’s arm strength made up for that on a couple of go-routes.

Prescott doesn’t have Romo’s arm, but is a a deadly accurate passer that seems to get better with every snap he takes in the Dallas offense. The Cowboys are the overwhelming favorite to come out of the NFC. Should Prescott and Bryant have a few more plays like this at AT&T Stadium in January, it’ll be hard to not see the Cowboys in their first Super Bowl in 20 years.
