Jadeveon Clowney records interception in Wild Card game vs Raiders (Video)

Jadeveon Clowney got the playoffs for the Texans started off with some excitement on this interception
This past season, Jadeveon Clowney really started to come along for the Houston Texans. His NFL career thus far has hit some bumps along the way, but this past season it really seemed as if he was starting to put it all together.
Saturday afternoon Clowney and the Texans are starting their playoff journey against the visiting Oakland Raiders, and Clowney made one of the bigger plays of the game early. However, it wasn’t in the manner that you’d probably think.
In the first quarter of this one, Raiders quarterback Connor Cook looked to swing the ball out of the backfield. But, the problem was, he forgot to account for Clowney, who was right there to come down with the interception off the tip.
Now that is the kind of freakish athleticism that Clowney has always been known for and he’s really starting to flash it to the entire world. On one of the biggest stages of the season so far here as the postseason gets underway, there was really no better place for the former South Carolina standout to show everyone what he can do.

Now the overlooked part of this play is how this was absolutely not the start that Connor Cook wanted. He’s under enough pressure to begin with, and after throwing that pick to Clowney, you’d imagine that his confidence took a bit of a hit in this one.
