Youngstown State vs. James Madison live stream: Watch online
The Youngstown State Penguins face the James Madison Dukes on Saturday, Jan. 7 in the FCS Football Championship. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
When talking about FCS college football, you think of a handful of programs that have dominated the sport. However, the 2016-17 FCS Football Championship that will be played on Saturday from Toyota Stadium in Frisco, TX doesn’t include any of those teams. Instead, the Youngstown State Penguins will do battle with the James Madison Dukes as they both try to complete an underdog run.
In the first round of the FCS playoffs, James Madison absolutely ran through Sam Houston State in a lopsided blowout. However, their real masterpiece came in the semifinals as they topped historically great North Dakota State. The Dukes are for real and can beat anyone in the FCS.
However, Youngstown State may be even more of an underdog in this matchup. They needed two overtimes to advance past Wofford in the quarterfinals, but then needed an absolutely insane two-point conversion catch to advance to the FCS Championship. Now they hope for magic once more against James Madison.
These two teams facing off for the FCS title will be broadcast on ESPN2. Moreover, you can also stream the game online using the WatchESPN service. Access WatchESPN either online or through the ESPN app using a cable or satellite subscription to log in.
