A Kylie Jenner lip kit that the young starlet donated for charity has recently raised more than a half-million dollars. The young starlet donated the proceeds to Smile Train.

According to People Magazine, Kylie Jenner created a special edition lip kit in conjunction with the charity that aims to provide “one surgery every five minutes” to disadvantaged children. The pale pink lipstick, which she named “Smile,” had 100 percent of the proceeds donated to the organization.

The original Kylie Jenner lip kit that was meant for Smile Train was originally released on World Smile Day, which is the first Friday in October. As these lip kits are often wont to do, it sold out within minutes of being released. And by selling out, Kylie was able to raise more than $150,000 from the lip kit.

$150,000, according to the report, will provide surgeries for more than 600 children.

In January of this year, she relaunched the limited edition Kylie Jenner lip kit. Like it did in October, the lip kit sold out within minutes, and raised an additional $300,000 for Smile Train. That brought the total money raised to more than a half-million dollars.

In total, more than 1,800 children will benefit from Kylie’s donation.

Susannah Schaeffer, CEO of Smile Train, told the outlet that she was very pleased with the outcome of the sales of the Kylie Jenner lip kit.

"“Smile Train has been aware of Kylie’s generous heart and her commitment to helping children through her #IAmMoreThan social media campaign and her many visits to children’s hospitals. It’s the perfect synergy because Smile Train’s core vision is to help children with clefts not only receive new smiles, but also build confidence. There’s nothing more powerful than a smile.”"

Schaeffer also said that the sales of this limited edition Kylie Jenner lip kit demonstrated Kylie’s “huge heart.” She also said that she was “proud” that Kylie was an ambassador for the charity.
