After Clemson won their first national title in 35 years, star linebacker Ben Boulware returned to social media by trolling with his new and interesting tattoo.

In the moments that followed a wild college football national title game in Tampa last week, no one may have been having more fun for the Clemson Tigers than linebacker Ben Boulware. The South Carolina native and lifelong Tigers fan delivered a passionate speech that showed how much this win meant to him.

It was one of the first times Boulware showed his emotions this season in front of the nation. One of those reasons is that he went on a social media hiatus during the season, returning to Twitter in the hours that followed Clemson’s first title since 1981.

It seems that in addition to enjoying the moment and posting memories from what took place in the win over Alabama not that long ago, Boulware is taking time to troll those he feels haven’t given him the proper respect.

One of those people was ESPN college football analyst Desmond Howard. During the year, Howard made a comment saying he wasn’t sure the Tigers could contain maybe their toughest running test of the season, Florida State running back Dalvin Cook. Boulware, in true meathead fashion, had a response that dropped the mic:

Ummm … okay, Ben. You really showed all of us something with that ink. It should be known, for the record, that Cook rank for his third highest yard total of 2016 in that game (169 yards along with four touchdowns), but Boulware and the Tigers got the stat that mattered in the three-point win.

Many mock drafts have Boulware as one of the top 10 inside linebackers in the 2017 class, meaning he will likely hear his name called in one of the first few rounds this April. Even if he doesn’t have a long career in the pros, the man from Anderson has secured his spot as a legend for those in purple and orange — and those who appreciate a good troll job.
