Check out FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks as you build your lineup for a solid five-game slate of games for this Tuesday, January 17.

After a three-day weekend, the NBA is back at work Tuesday night with five games ready for DFS fantasy basketball players. Tonight’s action is fairly front-loaded with four games early and one trailer from the West Coast. With plenty of big names in play, there are lots of ways to fallout your lineup card. To see who deserves consideration for your lineup tonight, check out FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

More from FanDuel

Like last night’s contest, things get underway tonight at 7:30 PM ET. We get a pair of games tipping at that time as the Heat host Houston and the Nets welcome in the Raptors. At 8:00, the Mavericks are at the United Center to take on the Bulls followed at 8:30 by the Spurs welcoming the Wolves. In the last game of the night, the Lakers are in action as they take on the Nuggets at STAPLES Center. Of those ten teams in tonight’s main contest, only the Nuggets took part in yesterday’s MLK Day festivities. It is worth noting, as well, that the Rockets and the Raptors will turn around and play again tomorrow.

In tonight’s five games, there is a lot of star power including Jimmy Butler, Karl-Anthony Towns, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden. With ten teams on the board, though, you’ll need to choose both stars and sleepers wisely as you build your roster.  To see who I think you should consider based on current form and tonight’s matchup, scroll through today’s FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show my relative confidence in the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. This post isn’t a place to find a copy-and-paste lineup since there are plenty of places that will sell you access to their picks. In this free daily post, I suggest you build your own customized team with the players that you like the most. As always, you’re welcome to check out my lineup and use it as a place to get started.

Just one more quick reminder that each day in my FanDuel daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, you can always find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub. If you have any questions or are looking for any updates as the games get closer, follow @FanSidedFantasy on Twitter. I’ll also use that account to tweet out links when we add new stories to the fantasy basketball hub.

With those reminders out of the way, let’s dive into Tuesday’s FanDuel daily picks with a look at the PG options that make sense tonight.
