The next EA Play event is coming this June, right before the highly anticipated E3 2017.

In a press release from Electronic Arts on Wednesday, January 18, a new EA Play has been announced. For those who don’t know, EA Play is a showcase for the company’s upcoming games, combining some aspects of a traditional press conference with hands-on experiences open to the public.

EA Play 2017 will be held from June 10 through June 12. It’s interesting considering that it’ll end one day prior to the biggest video game conference/event, E3.

But EA Play focuses solely on games that it’s working on, which is pretty obvious. At EA Play, whether you’re in person or watching online via a live stream, you’ll be able to experience these great games. For example, at Gamescom, the EA event showcased games like FIFA 17 and Battlefield 1. Both games are huge fan favorites and gave people a taste of what’s to come.

Not only will EA be broadcasting some new footage and revealing some details on upcoming games, it will also host competitions and have community content, like hands-on gameplay and live entertainment. If you’re lucky enough to attend, you’ll be in for a treat.

To sum it all up, EA Play 2017 will feature something for everybody. Whether you’re a game developer, a fan, a content creator or an entertainer, you’ll find some sort of enjoyment.

Last year, EA Play ran more or less in conjunction with E3, and took the place of the company’s traditional (and huge) both on the show floor. We have a good feeling that EA will still have a huge presence at E3 2017 and with EA Play, it’ll be able to get ahead of everyone else who will be presenting at E3.
