The New England Patriots won an epic Super Bowl in overtime and Bill Belichick joined SportsCenter to break down how the team won the game.

The New England Patriots completed the greatest comeback in the history of the Super Bowl on Sunday night. Down 25 points, the Patriots did the improbable and never quit. Tom Brady made the plays to put his team in position to win and the Patriots held the Atlanta Falcons to just seven points in the second half. It was yet another great coaching performance from Bill Belichick.

After the game, Belichick joined SportsCenter to talk the win. Full of joy, Belichick talked with Chris Berman, Randy Moss and the rest of the crew about the win. He mentioned how he noticed pushing the pace was working late and they executed the same way when they got the ball in overtime.

It’s a rare moment to see Belichick actually open up but after a game like this, it’s hard not to. In the first half, it looked like the Falcons were going to run away with this football game. They were dominating on both sides of the ball and the Patriots couldn’t get the stops they needed.

However, the Patriots’ offense kept working Atlanta’s defense until they got tired and eventually they broke down. Belichick pushed the right buttons and his offense was able to erase a huge deficit and bring home the fifth Lombardi Trophy in the history of the franchise.

Seeing him get to talk on SportsCenter after the game is a great moment for Patriots fans. With Chris Berman wrapping up his legendary career soon, seeing him with another legend made it all the worthwhile.
