Rob Gronkowski might not have played in Super Bowl LI, but he isn’t shy about telling us that he now has two rings.

The New England Patriots completed one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history and mounted the single best Super Bowl comeback ever. From down 28-3 in the third quarter to winning their fifth Super Bowl in the Tom Brady era, it was a game that not many who watched it will ever forget.

One person who was watching it just like the rest of us was Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. He was ruled out with an injury and was a total non-factor in the game — something that might have led to the Patriots needing to much time to figure out their offense after the first half.

Despite not playing, Gronkowski was one of the first players to celebrate not only his own win but the team win that he witnessed on Sunday night.

After the game-winning touchdown in overtime, Rob Gronkowski wasted no time in celebrating what his now his second Super Bowl ring. He was also quick to point out that it’s five rings for Tom Brady.

Say what you will about Gronkowski, but he’s a company man if there ever has been one in New England. He’s a party animal who lives a life of his own, but when it comes to business he’s always the first to praise Tom Brady and the way the Patriots do things.

That’s why before gloating about winning his second ring, he pointed out the accolades that Tom Brady has amassed over the course of his career. Gronk is above all a team player, but no injury can keep him from turning up in the club tonight in Houston.
