FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-February 8
The NBA has a full slate of 12 games in tonight’s DFS fantasy basketball competitions. Get your team in the game with FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks.
A day after a three-game slate, the NBA has full schedule with 12 games going on Tuesday, with action tipping off starting at 7:00 PM ET. At 7:00, lineups will lock with the Spurs at the 76ers and the Cavaliers at the Pacers. A half hour later the Wizards go to Brooklyn, the Nuggets are in Atlanta, and the Lakers head to the Motor City to battle the Pistons. At 8:00 the Raptors go to Minnesota, the Clippers are in the Big Apple to see the Knicks, the Jazz make the fitting journey to New Orleans, and the Suns travel to see the Grizzlies. Finally, there are two late games with the Celtics in Sacramento and the Bulls at Golden state.
We’re talking 24 teams and 120 starters playing, so there are mad ways for you to build your lineup for tonight. There are a lot of fun match-ups to consider, both for a DFS and just an entertainment point of view. LeBron James vs Paul George should be fun, the Bucks get their shooter Khris Middleton back (at least in limited minutes) tonight, and Isaiah Thomas and Steph Curry get to finish off the night trying to see who can score the most points in the most fun possible way. Should be lots to see tonight.
My favorite plays of the day can be found on the following slides in FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks. Each day in order to offer a variety of price points at each position, you can find two slides for each position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each pick is ranked on a scale of 1-5 stars to indicate the confidence in the pick. The final slide of this post has more detail on what each level means, but in short, more stars means more confidence in the selection on a points-per-dollar basis.
Important note, every day the goal of this post is not to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, each selection is given while highlighting the factors you need to consider when building a customized lineup for yourself. If you want to see an example lineup, you can find it on the final slide of the post, but I suggest you adjust your lineup to fit your personal taste.
