The NBA has a relatively robust nine games in tonight’s DFS fantasy basketball competitions. Get your team in the game with FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks.

The NBA continues its up-and-down week of games played this week, from three (Sunday) to 11 to three to 12 to five and now, nine games on Friday night. The action starts a half-hour later than usual, at 7:30 p.m. ET, with the Heat at the Nets, the Spurs at the Pistons and the Nuggets at the Knicks. A half-hour later, four more games tip with the Warriors at the Grizzlies, the Pelicans at the Timberwolves, the Lakers at the Bucks and the Pacers at the Wizards. There are two night cap games, with the Hawks at the Kings and the Bulls at the Suns.

There are a lot of storylines going on Friday, good for both DFS action as well as must-see TV. Anthony Davis and Karl-Anthony Towns lock horns in a battle of former Kentucky Wildcats that both produce video game stats on the regular. Carmelo Anthony, in the midst of a continuing deluge of trade rumors, welcomes his former team the Nuggets to town. And Dwight Howard faces DeMarcus Cousins in a match-up of arguably the best center of the start of the decade against arguably the best center in the second half of the decade. Lots to see and unpack, so let’s get to it.

My favorite plays of the day can be found on the following slides in FanSided’s FanDuel daily picks. Each day in order to offer a variety of price points at each position, you can find two slides for each position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each pick is ranked on a scale of 1-5 stars to indicate the confidence in the pick. The final slide of this post has more detail on what each level means, but in short, more stars means more confidence in the selection on a points-per-dollar basis.

Important note, every day the goal of this post is not to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, each selection is given while highlighting the factors you need to consider when building a customized lineup for yourself. If you want to see an example lineup, you can find it on the final slide of the post, but I suggest you adjust your lineup to fit your personal taste.

If you find this info helpful, drop a bookmark on the fantasy basketball hub to find this kind of post about FanDuel every day along with a similar one for DraftKings. In this post, all references to fantasy points and salary post refer to FanDuel scoring and salaries. Explanation of the stars after each pick:

5 stars (∗∗∗∗∗): Players that you almost have to own and I have no reservations about owning at their price.

4 stars (∗∗∗∗): Players that I think are strong picks to build your roster around.

3 stars (∗∗∗): Middle-of-the-road solid picks who are fairly reliable to produce a good game. Picks receiving

2 stars (∗∗): High-risk, high-reward players who do offer enough upside to be in my picks, but also have a significant risk factor that makes them dangerous.

1 star (∗): Players are picks that are the best option around that price point, but who I don’t think are great options.
