The Splatoon Global Testfire is back. This time, it’s on Splatoon 2 and the Nintendo Switch.

Before the release of Splatoon, Nintendo Wii U owners were able to test out the game with a demo known as the Global Testfire. It was a great way for potential consumers to try the game out. If you plan on buying the Nintendo Switch, then get ready to do the same with Splatoon 2.

On Sunday, Nintendo released a new video announced the Global Testfire for Splatoon 2. It’s basically the same format they’ve used in the past. The demo for the game will be live for about an hour at certain times. So, if you plan on playing, make sure to plan ahead so that you don’t miss out.

But, don’t worry. There will be a number of opportunities to participate in the Global Testfire. On March 24, it will be live from 12 to 12:59 PM PT. Then, on that same day, it will be live again from 8 to 8:59 PM PT.

That’s just an example. If you want to see the dates, head on over to the YouTube video, which you can check out below:

Splatoon is a third-person online shooter. It does have a single-player mode, but it’s mostly lackluster. Most players play the game solely because of the online multiplayer, and rightfully so. The game is a ton of fun.

Initially, before the Nintendo Switch live presentation, we thought Splatoon was just going to be ported to the console. However, when new gameplay was shown off, it was revealed shortly after that it was a completely new game.

To be honest, Splatoon 2 looks mostly the same. But, it does have improved visuals, the gameplay does look much smoother, and there’s many new weapons to choose from. We can’t wait to test it out in the Global Testfire in March.
