Arizona State Sun Devils

Last week: 12-14 (5-8 Pac-12)
Last rank: 8

Sitting two games below .500, the Arizona State Sun Devils could quietly put together a three-game winning streak by this time next week. Thanks to a late charge by Arizona State over the Stanford Cardinal this past weekend, Arizona State picked up a much-needed win in the conference. Although they are in the middle of the pack and more than likely won’t reach a postseason tournament, you can tell that Bobby Hurley is really getting the program on the upswing. Easy games against Washington and Washington State could have Arizona State sitting at 14-14 by the end of this weekend.

Colorado Buffaloes

Last week: 15-11 (5-8 Pac-12)
Last rank: 10

Another team that gained a boost from beating the Washington schools was Colorado. Currently riding a two-game win streak, Colorado sits firmly in position to be in the conversation with other teams on the NCAA bubble. This week presents a much bigger challenge. After facing Oregon State to begin the week, the Buffaloes will travel to Eugene and face an Oregon team that they defeated just a few weeks ago. Two wins over the Ducks would push the Buffs streak to four games and all but put them in the conversation to reach the NCAA Tournament.
