Tony Romo should have a new home for the 2017 NFL season, but where is he likely to end up after his presumed release from the Dallas Cowboys?

Tony Romo has long been the face of the Dallas Cowboys franchise, but he will likely be donning a new uniform for the 2017 NFL season. Romo should have his fair share of suitors, including teams like the Houston Texans, Denver Broncos, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He is certain to be one of the more sought-after free agents if the Cowboys do in fact release him, which they are expected to do in the coming weeks.

At one point in time, New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was considered one of the best players at his position. Now, Hernandez is just another inmate, after being found guilty of murder. Current Patriots head coach Bill Belichick may have to testify in Hernandez’s latest trial, which is a double-murder that occurred in 2012. Belichick is listed as a witness filed by Hernandez’s defense team, and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels may also be called as a witness as well.

James Harrison has been an incredible player for the Pittsburgh Steelers throughout his career, and it has been a career that may land him in Canton, Ohio. Though he is 38-years old, Harrison is looking for a two-year deal with the team, which would take him into his forties playing in the NFL. Harrison is going to be key for the Steelers if they want to make a return trip to the AFC Championship Game, where they were beaten soundly by the New England Patriots last month.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been steadily improving as a team since they drafted Jameis Winston with the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. With the team on the brink of being a playoff team, Winston is looking to bring another offensive weapon into the fold. DeSean Jackson is going to be available on the free agent market, and the Bucs could certainly use another big time receiver to go along side Mike Evans next season.

With the quarterback position being fairly weak in the NFL, you would think a player like Jay Cutler would get a shot to start somewhere next season. Cutler is likely out in Chicago, who is looking to trade the player they once thought of as their franchise quarterback. While Cutler has been linked to the likes of the New York Jets recently, he may actually be headed towards an early retirement, which would be quite the end to a fairly disappointing career.
