The 2017 NFL Scouting Combine will feature some of the best prospects entering the 2017 NFL Draft. Here are the linebackers that will attending the combine.

The 2017 NFL Scouting Combine will begin at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Arriving first to the scouting combine will be the specialists, the offensive linemen, and the running backs.

One of the position groups in the day three arrivals (Thursday, Mar. 2) will be the linebackers. This group isn’t terribly big, but it does pack a lot of punch. There are guys that can affect the passer, as well as guys that can stuff the run.

Here are the linebackers that will be attending the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine.

  • Ryan Anderson, Alabama Crimson Tide
  • Alex Anzalone, Florida Gators
  • Kendell Beckwith, LSU Tigers
  • Vince Biegel, Wisconsin Badgers
  • Ben Boulware, Clemson Tigers
  • Tyus Bowser, Houston Cougars
  • Blair Brown, Ohio Bobcats
  • Jayon Brown, UCLA Bruins
  • Riley Bullough, Michigan State Spartans
  • Zach Cunningham, Vanderbilt Commodores
  • Jarrad Davis, Florida Gators
  • Kevin Davis, Colorado State Rams
  • Brooks Ellis, Arkansas Razorbacks
  • Devonte’ Fields, Louisville Cardinals
  • Reuben Foster, Alabama Crimson Tide
  • Ben Gedeon, Michigan Wolverines
  • Connor Harris, Lindenwood Lions
  • Keith Kelsey, Louisville Cardinals
  • Marquel Lee, Wake Forest Demon Deacons
  • JoJo Mathis, Washington Huskies
  • Raekwon McMillan, Ohio State Buckeyes
  • Matt Milano, Boston College Eagles
  • Hardy Nickerson, Illinois Fighting Illini
  • Jabrill Peppers, Michigan Wolverines
  • Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Tennessee Volunteers
  • Duke Riley, LSU Tigers
  • Anthony Walker Jr., Northwestern Wildcats
  • T.J. Watt, Wisconsin Badgers

The two linebackers that are almost certainly going to go in the first round will be Alabama’s Reuben Foster and Vanderbilt’s Zach Cunningham. Foster will be off the board first. He is viewed as a better version of Reggie Ragland, who went in the second round last year out of Alabama to the Buffalo Bills. Cunningham is a bit more tricky. He could go in the middle of the first-round or in the early 30s.

A few other players of note with this linebackers group include Clemson’s Ben Boulware, Michigan’s Jabrill Peppers, and Wisconsin’s T.J. Watt. Boulware was a star for the 2016 National Champions Clemson Tigers. Does he make it on to an NFL roster as a day three selection?

Peppers was a Heisman finalist for the Michigan Wolverines. He is essentially positionless, as a strong safety/inside linebacker hybrid. Peppers could be exactly what teams want as a secondary player, or fall off their draft boards entirely.

Watt is the younger brother of Houston Texans star defensive end J.J. Watt. The younger Watt brother isn’t as menacing as his older brother, but is just as quick and as aggressive. He could be a great pick for anybody that ends up drafting him.
