Leicester face off against Hull in the Premier League on Saturday. The Foxes were rampant on Monday night, when they dismantled Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side in their last league game. After Claudio Ranieri’s sacking there was a public outcry but with the Liverpool result in mind it’s clear that something had gone awry under the Italian manager. For Hull, Leicester’s managerial change is bad news for their relegation fight. The Tigers have improved since Marco Silva has taken over but they’re still in the thick of a relegation battle.

If Ranieri was still in charge, then Hull fans might fancy their side’s chances but now it’s like they’re facing the Leicester of last season. Leicester relied so heavily on team morale last season and evidently that was deteriorating as the weeks of the season went by. The Foxes seem to have their mojo back now, but Silva should be ready for that. Hull should prove to be a harder defense to breakdown than Liverpool’s makeshift back four, which included Brazilian midfielder Lucas. However, if Leicester play anything like they did against Liverpool then they should find a goal somewhere. A win for the Foxes would only move them up one place in the league but it would extend the gap between themselves and the relegation zone.
