Proud Northwestern graduate and mom Julia Louis-Dreyfus cheers on her son and her alma mater as the Wildcats head to the NCAA Tournament.

No team was as excited about landing a spot in the 2017 NCAA Tournament as Northwestern, who landed a spot in the Big Dance for the first time in program history.

Not surprisingly, Northwestern alumni everywhere joined in on the celebration, including one of Northwestern’s most famous alums, Julia Louis-Dreyfus. She sent a tweet to celebrate her school’s huge accomplishment with a nod to her character dancing on Seinfeld.

She isn’t only cheering on her alma mater, she’s cheering on her son as his team goes to the tournament. Louis-Dreyfus’s son Charlie Hall is a walk-on for the team and proud mama Julia is celebrating her son’s team as they now prepare to face Vanderbilt on Thursday.

Northwestern landed an 8-seed and will play the No. 9 Commodores of Vanderbilt on Thursday in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the First Round of the West Region. While this is Northwestern’s first trip to the NCAA Tournament ever, this is the second straight appearance for the Commodores.

Northwestern broke a school record for overall and conference wins in a season, starting the year on an 11-2 run that saw the Wildcats beat Wisconsin and Michigan to help punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
