The Florida Gators and Wisconsin Badgers will battle for a spot in the Elite Eight when they meet in the 2017 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 on Friday.

On Thursday night, March Madness took quite the turn as the Sweet 16 provided some crazy endings that caught people by surprise. The biggest of the night was the Xavier Musketeers knocking off the Arizona Wildcats. On Friday, the potential for more great action exists when the Florida Gators and Wisconsin Badgers play.

Both of these teams have gotten by on the strength of their defense. There is a great chance that these two play a game that drags out and is won on physicality alone. The Badgers of course got here after defeating the defending champion Villanova Wildcats.

Florida held Virginia to just 39 points in the last round and they really flexed their muscles on that end of the floor. Both of these teams would relish the opportunity to slug it out with each other in a tight battle for a chance to go to the Elite Eight.

The Final Four is right around the corner and a win for either of these programs will put them one game away and in the regional final. The winner will face the winner of South Carolina and Baylor on Sunday.
