LaVar Ball talks a big game but he does not have the play nor the talent to back it up.

I wonder if this will be the next topic of Stephen A. Smith and LaVar Ball’s shouting match on Monday during First Take. Recently a video was posted to YouTube and it showcases the braggadocious father of UCLA guard Lonzo Ball playing against guys in the gym.

Now surely he would not be one to get shown up on a basketball court considering all the smack he talks. I mean, the dude said that he could’ve beaten Michael Jordan one-on-one! He’s got to have some game left in the old man body. Not so fast, my friend!

Trust me, you’ll want to watch this video in its entirety. Keep an eye on number eight in the red. That is LaVar Ball.

The only Michael Jordan on that basketball court was the guy wearing the old Washington Wizards Jordan jersey.

In the very first few seconds of the video, Ball has the ball stripped away from him by the opposing team. He also gets blocked and is outjumped by the younger guys on the other team.

But c’mon, cut the guy some slack, right? He’s older so we should all take it easy on the poor guy. Obviously, if he was in his prime years, then he would be cooking these guys and would have broken all of their ankles by now. He probably would have already shattered some backboards too.

This video was very entertaining to watch mostly because LaVar is getting schooled by every other player on the floor. He is moving pretty gingerly and is winded before all of the action even starts.

Next: Is Lonzo Ball better than Steph Curry? LaVar thinks so.

I want to see him challenge Jordan to a one-on-one game. We can air it before the NBA draft. If he wins, Lonzo gets drafted number 1 overall. But, if Jordan wins, Lonzo is stuck on the terrible Hornets. Either way, we all get to enjoy LaVar take a fat L from Jordan.
