The 2017 NFL Draft trade speculation has kicked into high gear, as the 49ers, Bears, and Jets are rumored to be prime candidates to trade down.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated reported the San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, and New York Jets are three teams possibly looking to trade down in the 2017 NFL draft. According to King, there is not much of a dropoff in talent in the prospects likely to be selected between No. 2 and No. 10, and team need will ultimately determine the landing spots for prospects such as Malik Hooker, Solomon Thomas and Jonathan Allen.

The 49ers have already stated they are interested in trading down, while the Jets and the Bears could also use extra picks to replenish their depleted rosters. All three teams have a need at the quarterback position, although it is possible none of them believe the quarterbacks available in this class are worth a top-10 draft pick.

Any team looking to trade out of the top 10 may want to consider Cleveland as a trade partner. King speculated the Browns could easily trade up from No. 12 to get their quarterback with the plethora of draft picks they acquired in the offseason.

The Browns claiming they are undecided on the No. 1 pick is an excellent move for the franchise, as it will prevent the 49ers from trading out of the No. 2 spot with the possibility of Myles Garrett being available. Putting this information out there is also likely to keep the rest of the teams picking in the top 10 in their respective draft slots until draft day. This will allow Cleveland to further consider their options while the draft order remains static.
