On Thursday, April 27, the Cleveland Browns will kick off the 2017 NFL Draft with the No. 1 overall pick. Here is where the draft will take place.

The 2017 NFL Draft will take place on Thursday, April 27, marking the beginning of NFL journeys for hundreds of collegiate athletes. While some players are guaranteed to hear their names called on Thursday, some are borderline first rounders, who may have to wait an extra day or two before they can officially call themselves NFL players. Still, it is certain to be an exciting time for football fans everywhere, who are hoping this new crop of players can help their franchise move in the right direction.

The Cleveland Browns finished last season with a 1-15 record, and their reward will be the first pick in the draft. Many believe that Myles Garrett from Texas A&M will be the first player selected, as he followed up an incredible collegiate career with an even better performance at the NFL Scouting Combine. From there, it is anybody’s guess, as free agent signing have really changed up the needs of the teams picking in the top-10.

In 2016, the draft was held in Chicago, Illinois, after the draft’s long run in New York. This year, the City of Brotherly Love will get the event, as the NFL will move the draft to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is rich in tradition, and the Eagles have some of the most passionate, loyal fans in all of sports.

The NFL Draft will officially begin at 8:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, with second and third round action taking place on Friday. The draft will finish up with the last four rounds on Saturday, so it will be an action-packed three days in Philly next week.

Philadelphia will be the third city in as many years to host the draft, as the NFL looks to give multiple cities the opportunity to host the event. The first NFL Draft was held in Philadelphia in 1936, but this event will have a much different feel. While the first draft took place inside the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, the draft will take place outside along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, which should make for an incredible event.
