With the first month of the 2017 season winding down already, here is the best player on all 30 MLB teams.

The first month of the regular season is winding down, with the typical surprises, disappointments and things in between. As the season rolls on players will emerge and players will disappoint due to any number of factors, but when it’s all said and done stars with a track record will generally wind up with close to their typical numbers.

As we sit here in late April, lets run down the best players on all 30 teams.

Arizona Diamondbacks: 1B Paul Goldschmidt

Over the last handful of years, in the relative obscurity of the desert playing for a Diamondbacks team that has underachieved , Goldschmidt has become a star. He has been a National League All-Star four years in a row, with two runner-up finishes for MVP (2013 and 2015) and two Gold Gloves (2013 and 2015) over that span.

Fantasy baseball owners have surely been aware of Goldschmidt for longer than a typical baseball fan, with the stolen base prowess (career-high 32 steals in 2016) he adds to the typical offensive numbers a powerful first baseman puts up. In any case, there’s no argument over who the best player on the Diamondbacks’ roster is.
