NFL prospect Gareon Conley has been named in a police report accusing him of raping a woman, but he has denied the allegations.

According to a TMZ Sports report, NFL prospect and Ohio State standout Gareon Conley has been accused of raping a woman in the Cleveland area. Conley has denied the accusations but police are currently investigating the situation.

The woman filed a report with police in Cleveland stating that the incident happened in a hotel room and described the suspect as a “black male who wouldn’t take his sunglasses off and had an Ohio State tattoo on his left forearm.”

The police arrived and asked questions to two of Conley’s friends who were on the scene. Conley’s friends denied the woman’s accusations, and said she was just upset they kicked her out of their hotel room. The reported incident occurred on April 9, but no arrests have been made at this time.

Conley was a star defensive back at Ohio State University and has entered the NFL Draft that will begin on April 27. Many NFL experts had Conley as potentially being a first round draft selection in their mock drafts, including our latest one here at FanSided Conley is described as a defensive back who possesses good size and athleticism.

Despite Conley’s denials of the allegations made against him, it could still hinder his draft stock in some sort of way. These types of allegations are not taken lightly, and if he is found to be guilty of them, he could be looking at more serious consequences than just his draft stock falling. As stated before, no arrests or charges have been filed against anyone involved in this investigation at this time.
