The Seattle Seahawks have seven picks in the 2017 NFL Draft. When do they pick?

Yes, the Seattle Seahawks have a total of seven draft picks heading into April 27. You also get the sense that number may change on a continuous basis.

You see, there’s still that potential trade that would send running back Marshawn Lynch (who seemingly retired following 2015 but his right are owned by the Seahawks) to the Oakland Raiders (who will soon be trading in their current home for Las Vegas). Got it?

In any case, the 2016 division champions head into this draft with the standard amount of selections. But numbers can indeed be deceiving. However, it’s also worth noting that there’s plenty of bargaining power at the disposal of general manager John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll.

Here are their 2017 NFL Draft picks:

Round 1 – 26th overall
Round 2 – 58th overall
Round 3 – 90th overall
Round 3 – 102nd overall
Round 3 – 106th overall
Round 6 – 210th overall
Round 7 – 226th overall

Obviously, the Seahawks don’t have picks in either the fourth or fifth rounds. But they do own three choices in the third round. There’s their own (90th overall) and a pair of compensatory choices. And as we all know, you can now deal any of your selections. And this is a team screaming for some help along the offensive line. Stay tuned.

The Seattle Seahawks have been in the playoffs each of the past five seasons. But this past year we saw some cracks in the armor. The NFC West champions didn’t look like the same club that usually plays its best football down the stretch. Perhaps some new and talented young faces will help. And with that aforementioned trio of third-round selections, this could be a club that makes some noise when it comes to moving up (or down).
