The lineup for D23 Expo 2017 has officially been unveiled. We’ll be seeing information on upcoming Disney animated, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm movies, and much more.

On Friday, Disney unveiled the official lineup for the D23 Expo 2017 in July. This expo will take place right before San Diego Comic Con. It’s a huge possibility that we’ll be getting a ton of information about a variety of their projects throughout those two events. However, we believe there’s a reason that Disney decided to host an event just about a week before SDCC. We’ll be discussing all of the events and some things they may show during these panels.

On Friday, they’ll kick off D23 at 10 a.m. with the “Disney Legends Awards Ceremony.” This panel will consist of a special ceremony, which honors this year’s recipients. For example, guests like Stan Lee, Mark Hamill, and Oprah Winfrey will be in attendance. They’ll also be honoring the late and great Carrie Fisher. To see the rest of the guests, check this out.

Then, at 2:30 p.m., the next panel is “Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios.” This panel will focus mainly on upcoming Disney animated films and Pixar films. Expect to see plenty of information and possible footage for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-it Ralph 2 and Coco. We’re especially hoping for something on The Incredibles 2 since it has been so long.

On Saturday, things shift over to “The Walt Disney Studios Live-Action Films” panel at 10:30 a.m. We’ll possibly be learning a ton of information about upcoming Marvel films, live-action Disney adaptations, and Star Wars. We aren’t too sure about whether or not The Last Jedi will have a big presence at the show. However, we do think we’ll see something on the upcoming Han Solo film. Considering Marvel will have a big presence at SDCC as well, we may see some things first at D23 before we see them at SDCC. It’s a possibility that they’ll be saving some announcements for SDCC as well.

At 3 p.m., the “Walt Disney Parks and Resorts” panel kicks off. This will be all about the plans Disney has for their amusement parks. For example, we’re sure we’ll learn plenty about the Star Wars lands that are currently under construction. We may also learn about new projects that they have in store. Maybe Marvel-related?

Finally, on Sunday, the very last panel is “A Whole New World of Alan Menken,” which will have two showings (1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.). This panel is all about honoring Menken, who’s a legend for creating and composing iconic music for a variety of Disney animated films.

D23 Expo will take place July 14-16.
