Los Angeles Clippers’ center DeAndre Jordan throws down a thunderous jam on the Utah Jazz during Sunday’s playoff game.

Another day, another monster dunk by Clippers’ center DeAndre Jordan. It was off a smooth pass off a pick-and-roll from Chris Paul, where Jordan took the lane and slammed it down on the Jazz.

It was a play that Paul and Jordan have run numerous times since they became teammates, but it only gets more enjoyable to watch as they keep them coming. Jordan has been known for three things during his NBA career thus far: dunks, defense and awful free throw shooting. He does the first two well enough that the free throw shooting is stomached by the Clippers.

Coming into today’s Game 7 elimination against the Jazz, Jordan had been averaging 14 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1 block per game. The Clippers will need Jordan to continue to score and dominate the boards, in order to help make up for the loss of their star forward Blake Griffin. The former No. 1 overall pick hurt his toe earlier in the series and was ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs.

Jordan’s stats during this current playoff series resemble his stats that he averaged during the regular season. Jordan has been rewarded for his great play in recent years as he was named to the All Defensive first team in each of the last two seasons, as well as being named to the All-NBA first team last season. What Jordan might remember the most though is finally being named to the NBA’s All-Star team this past season, where many believed that he had been snubbed from it over the past few seasons. If the Clippers are able to move on from the Jazz, they will face the Golden State Warriors next.
