Tracking all of the WWE Payback 2017 match results and highlights from San Jose, CA on Sunday, April 30.

WWE Payback 2017 will be the first pay-per-view event since WrestleMania and the subsequent Superstar Shake-Up. As a result, it’s undoubtedly a strange card for the RAW exclusive show. Part of that is due to the complications from the Shake-Up that requires superstars from both brands to be on the card. While that may be so, WWE Payback still has a chance to tear down the house in San Jose, CA on Sunday, April 30.

That, of course, all starts with the main event match that has quite a bit of buzz behind it. Braun Strowman has been a tour de force as of late. And his most forceful blow was dealt to one Roman Reigns. After attacking “The Guy” in “his yard,” Strowman then kept coming back for more. He then threw a stretchered Reigns off a loading dock, before later returning to flip an entire ambulance with Reigns still inside. Since then, The Big Dog has been off TV, but he’ll return at WWE Payback.

Also on the card for WWE Payback 2017 will be the rematch between Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho with the United States title on the line. With the current champion, Owens, now being on SmackDown Live and Jericho still on RAW, the home of the title is also at stake here.

Throughout the night on Sunday, fans will also be treated to Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins and Bayley defending her title in her hometown against RAW newcomer Alexa Bliss. Meanwhile, The Hardy Boyz will also defend the tag belts while Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton will compete in a House of Horrors match — whatever that is.

It may be coming at a strange time, but the first pay-per-view after Mania will set the tone for the rest of spring and into summer. Thus, fans will want to follow the action. You can do so below as we’ll track all of the WWE Payback 2017 results below with links to full highlights once the Kickoff Show begins at 7:00 p.m. ET.

As has been the case with most brand-specific shows since the split, WWE Payback 2017 could have some dud matches. However, there are a few matches that could be very special. Let’s hope that the latter is more prevalent in San Jose than the former.
