The French Open 2017 begins on Sunday May 28 at 5:00 a.m. ET. Here’s how you can watch online via live streaming.

Without Roger Federer and Maria Sharapova, one might think the French Open 2017 field looks weak. While they are each among the top draws in tennis, there will still be a very competitive field, both on the men’s and women’s side of the bracket. The most famous clay court in the world will be on display starting on Sunday May 28. For those on the east coast, you’ll have to get up ultra early, with the television coverage starting at 5:00 a.m. ET.

NBCSN will be televising the French Open. Without Federer, defending champion Novak Djokovic will be looking to repeat. However, standing in his way will be one of the most successful men in the history of the French Open, Rafael Nadal. The two, assuming they both advance, are set to square off in the semifinals.

On the women’s side, Serena Williams will be out due to her pregnancy. However, her sister Venus Williams will still be playing, looking to win one for her sister and future niece or nephew. Defending champion Garbine Muguruza will have her work cut out for her, with an unfavorable matchup in just about every round.

The field looks extremely competitive. Andy Murray, currently number one in the world for men, gets a favorable draw, avoiding both Djokovic and Nadal until the final round should he advance that far.
