Allen Iverson is back, talking about practice, and actually practicing in a new teaser for the BIG3 3-on-3 basketball league.

The end of the NBA season should be a sad time for basketball fans. But with the debut of Ice Cube’s BIG3 league and the return of Allen Iverson, aren’t we all a little ready for the Warriors to get this over with tonight?

To promote Iverson’s return and the league tip-off on June 25, BIG3 released the following video titled ‘Ballin Again’:

Iverson nailing half court shots like they’re nothing has the NBA asking, “how come we didn’t get him instead of Steph Curry for All-Star weekend?”

This video is just a teaser, which makes me believe that there’s a full-length movie on the way. There’s no other answer.

A.I. didn’t show too much of his silky smooth Hall of Fame handle that made us fall in love with him, but he did knockdown a lot of open jumpers. That alone will have at least a dozen GMs calling him about an NBA return. And it wouldn’t be an Iverson feature without some talk about his shooting sleeves.

Now, let’s address the elephant in the room. This is a video of Iverson. Practicing. We can draw one of two conclusions from this. The first conclusion is that Ice Cube told him he better practice so they can get footage to hype his return. Iverson agreed because he respects Ice Cube and figured it never hurts to get shots up. The second conclusion is that Iverson is taking this BIG3 league super serious, which is bad news for Iverson’s week one opponents; Brian Scalabrine and the Ball Hogs.
