Kevin Durant hasn’t heard this kind of heat before. Jeopardy found a way to troll Durant about his move to Golden State in the best way possible.

Just when Kevin Durant thought he had heard it all about his free-agent departure from Oklahoma City, it got even worse. Back on July 4, when Durant announced that he was leaving OKC for the greener pastures of Golden State, many criticized him heavily. Durant was ripped by members of the media and fans across the country.

As the Warriors continued to win games, fans started to feel like Kevin Durant’s decision to join Golden State was the right one. Now they’re one win away from an NBA title and the validation of Kevin Durant’s decision and people are still throwing shade.

For $600 on Jeopardy, Alex Trebek and Co. decided to use Kevin Durant’s decision as their clue. It read “After a loss to the Warriors in the 2016 Western Finals, this Thunder stud didn’t beat ’em, he joined ’em.”

The contestant, Tucker, didn’t even hesitate and pressed the buzzer to announce “Who is Kevin Durant?” He was obviously correct, winning the money for that clue.

It’s still funny that nearly a year after the decision, people are still trying to find ways to throw shade on the decision. It doesn’t matter what comes up on Jeopardy, Durant’s one win away from his first NBA Championship. I doubt he has the time to worry about what Alex Trebek says on Jeopardy — he’s too busy trying to score and stop LeBron James on the other end of the floor.

Maybe after the Warriors win the title, the clue will change to reflect that Kevin Durant left Oklahoma City and became a champion in the Bay Area. For now, Jeopardy continues to troll the Easy Money Sniper on his decision.
