Paige hints at her return to the WWE after neck injury

WWE superstar Paige has been out of WWE with a neck injury for what seems like forever, but her tweet on Tuesday night hinted at a return.

WWE superstar Paige has had a rough go at things the last few years between injuries and other problems outside of the ring, but may be back sooner than we expected.

After a rough calendar year that saw seemingly endless scandals involving her boyfriend and former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio, along with some leaks of some not-PG videos and images a few months ago involving Xavier Woods and Brad Maddox.

Now, after so many setbacks with her injury, Paige is posting on Twitter about a possible comeback, and mentioned that she took her last x-rays for her neck.

While it’s obviously good to see Paige attempting a comeback, who knows what would happen if she eventually gets cleared? With the rough patch Paige went through between the Del Rio drama and the incident with Woods and Maddox, it may not be the best PR move to bring Paige back into the fold.

There was also a report a few months ago that, despite the status of Paige’s injury and how well she was recovering, WWE didn’t have any plans for the former Diva’s champion.

Another key piece to the problem is how even each women’s roster is on each brand, and adding Paige to one may cause an imbalance. However, depending on if WWE can clean up the ties with Paige, that may not matter in the end.

The one big string keeping Paige involved with the WWE is The Rock making a movie about her life story, which apparently has WWE struggling to get rid of her. If and once she’s cleared, it’ll be interesting to see how the whole situation is handled.
