A look at the information you’ll need to watch the rematch between Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev on Saturday night.

On Saturday, June 17, HBO Boxing will touch back down in Las Vegas to bring boxing fans the highly anticipated rematch between Andre Ward vs. Sergey Kovalev live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Both men previously fought for WBA, IBF and WBO light heavyweight titles last November. Entering the contest, both Ward and Kovalev were both ranked inside The Ring‘s Top 5 pound-for-pound fighter rankings and brought a combined prefect record of 60-0-1 into the ring. Dubbed “Pound-for-Pound,” the bout looked to settle the debate over who the best light heavyweight on the planet truly was.

During the bout, Kovalev opened up strong, even scoring a shocking second round knockdown. However, Ward ended up fighting back to pick up the narrow decision win, with all three judges scoring the fight in his favor 114-113. Almost immediately, talks of a rematch began to swirl.

Now, seven months later, and with Ward ranked No.1 and Kovalev ranked No.2 pound-for-pound in the world, the rematch will most certainly prove to be one of the most hotly contested matchups of the year.

Also appearing on the card will be Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0) vs. Moises Flores (25-0) and Luis Arias (17-0) vs. Arif Magomedov (18-1).
