The Clemson Tigers look to reign over college football once again in 2017, but what will their team look like in this pursuit? Their projected depth chart.

After experiencing the ultimate disappointment of a National Championship Game loss the season before, the Clemson Tigers were able to attain redemption. Head coach Dabo Swinney and company rolled through Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl in the College Football Playoff to earn the right to face Alabama for the title.

Despite falling behind, Deshaun Watson and company wouldn’t be denied. They went behind by a field goal late, but it was the clutch play of the Clemson offense that reigned supreme. Watson tossed a touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow with one second left on the clock to clinch the National Championship for the Tigers.

As the defending champs coming off a 14-1 overall season, Clemson will obviously have a target on their backs in the 2017 season. Of course, that was the case in the 2016 campaign sans the title, and that seemed to end up pretty well for them. However, Swinney’s Tigers will have a much taller task at hand this time around.

On both sides of the ball, the Tigers experienced quite a bit of loss by way of the NFL Draft. Two offensive players went in the first round while a handful of defensive leaders and starters were taken later. Of course, when talking about a program like Clemson, they’ll always have top-end recruits of years past ready to fill the void.

While they may not be favorites to repeat as champions, the Tigers will surely be in the hunt. In doing so, though, there will be a ton of new faces leading the way for them in 2017. With that in mind, let’s take a look at their projected depth chart for this season, starting with the offense.
