For those who have been waiting for the 2017 ESPYS nominees to be announced, they finally get their wish and a chance to vote for their favorites.

The ESPYS have always been a fun time as one of the few sports awards shows out there, and the nominees for the 2017 installment of the show were announced on Wednesday.

The full list of nominees for every category can be found at this link, and voting is now officially open for the awards for those looking to voice their opinions on some of the biggest moments in sports over the last year.

The two biggest awards always come when the best male and female athletes of the year are announced. This year, Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs, Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins, swimmer Michael Phelps, and Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder are all up for the title of Best Male Athlete. Meanwhile, gymnast Simone Biles, swimmer Katie Ledecky, Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks and tennis superstar Serena Williams are all up for Best Female Athlete.

Another big category will be the Best Game award, which has three nominees: Super Bowl 51 between the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons, Game 7 of the World Series between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians, and the Australian Open Final between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. It may be tough to beat a 25-point comeback in the second half of a Super Bowl, but the other two nominees will try their hardest.

The 25th anniversary of the show will be hosted by NFL legend Peyton Manning, and hopefully we get some great humor like we see in all of his Papa John’s and Nationwide commercials during the football season.

Fans can go vote for their favorite players or moments, and the winners will be announced when the show is aired on July 12 on ESPN.
