Joel Embiid had a pretty solid season for the Sixers when he was on the court last year, but he was not happy with how low his rating is for NBA 2K18.

Joel Embiid hasn’t had a ton of time on the court for the Philadelphia 76ers, so it’s tough to see him getting a very high rating in NBA 2K18 for such limited experience in the league. However, that didn’t stop the Sixers center from going off about his rating on Monday.

Embiid was given an 86, which is incredibly solid for a player his age and for how much he’s actually played. However, apparently “Trusting the Process” should raise your overall by at least nine points in Embiid’s mind.

In a video posted by the NBA 2K Instagram account, Embiid voiced his displeasure about the rating, and said he felt like he was one of the best defenders in the league, and deserved better.

“What? That’s bullcrap,” Embiid said. “I’m not gonna curse. I just got fined, so I’m not gonna curse. But 86 — I’m definitely going to bump it up to 95 during the season.”

Embiid had his own theory on Twitter about why his rating was lower than his expectations, and said it must have been his durability that brought his stats down in NBA 2K18.

Apparently, moves like these that are floating around the Internet this offseason weren’t enough to bump up Embiid’s rating.

Embiid is apparently having a rough day all around, as he found out how low his 2K rating is on the same day he got scored on by a soccer star in a game of one-on-one.

Maybe, if he didn’t give up that bucket to Paul Pogba earlier, he could’ve had a higher rating. For now, he’s stuck with his 86.
