Comic-Con 2017: Riverdale panel start time
By Leah Smith
Riverdale’s cast and creative team will be at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. Find out exactly when the panel starts.
The Riverdale gang is taking a road trip to San Diego this weekend for a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday at 11 a.m. Pacific (2 p.m. Eastern) in Ballroom 20.
The cast and creative team will be on hand to discuss what to expect from season 2. This includes one of the biggest cliffhangers from the first season: who shot Fred Andrews? There will also be a special video presentation, which likely means a new trailer.
Here are some details about what to expect from the panel from the SDCC website:
"Following the shocking first season finale, join Archie and the gang as they dive into the secrets that continue to loom over what once looked like a quiet, sleepy town. The circumstances surrounding Fred’s shooting kick off the mystery of season 2. Based on the characters from Archie Comics and produced by Berlanti Productions (The Flash, Supergirl, Blindspot, Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) in association with Warner Bros. Television, this one-hour drama is a bold, subversive take on the surreality of small-town life. See a special video presentation followed by a Q&A with series stars and producers."
Interestingly, it doesn’t appear that Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) will be at SDCC to talk about the possible fate of his character. In fact, this is one road trip that the kids of Riverdale are taking alone as it will only be the actors playing teenagers on the panel.
