WWE Subway Royal Rumble gets out of hand with your favorite superstars from the past.

Get ready to watch the best video you’ll see all day. What you’re about to see is video maker Tim Hann Rivera shooting a Subway Royal Rumble on the M train in New York. It’s as awesome as it sounds.

Upon seeing the title and the still, I immediately had flashbacks to the 2008 Royal Rumble poster, which featured WWE stars fighting on the subway. It’s a shame WWE doesn’t do more posters like that nowadays.

New York is generally one of the smartest crowds in wrestling, but this subway crowd wasn’t feeling the action. They didn’t even bother chanting for CM Punk in their boredom.

That shouldn’t take away from the fact that these men put their bodies on the line in the name of entertainment. The referee committed most to the bit, taking a hellacious chokeslam from Kane, but recovering quick enough to raise his arm in victory. WWE refs would kill to be able to get up that fast from a chokeslam.

While it’s nearly impossible to be disappointed with something so brilliant, the use of Shawn Michaels could have been better. Not a single sweet chin music thrown? We should have seen a Subway Superkick Party so big that even the Young Bucks would be jealous they didn’t get an invite.

Now, did anyone catch Kane eliminating himself on the second to final stop? Maybe he can argue that he went through the ropes and not over or maybe the referee missed it because he was still down.

All I’m saying is Undertaker and Hulk Hogan have a legitimate gripe that Kane had already been eliminated. This was either a brilliant callback to the 1997 Royal Rumble and Steve Austin’s tainted victory or the guy performing as Kane not knowing where he was.
