The Boston Celtics’ and Toronto Raptors’ struggles so far this season can be encapsulated in this 43-second clip from their matchup Thursday night.

Both the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors have struggled so far this NBA season. The two teams faced off against each other on Thursday night with the Celtics walking away with a 120-106 win.

Toronto came into the game fresh off of a win against the awful Washington Wizards. Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with 24 points and six assists while Pascal Siakam finished with 23 points.

Boston had two unlikely heroes in the game as rookie Payton Pritchard went 6-8 from three-point range and finished with 20 points and five rebounds. Semi Ojeleye had a career-high 24 points and six 3-pointers in the game as well to lead the Cs to victory.

While one team always leaves with a win in the game of basketball, neither team deserved to after this stretch in the third quarter.

The Celtics and Raptors had an awful stretch of basketball during Thursday’s game

The Eastern Conference looks pretty bad so far this season, no one can deny that. Only the Sixers, Bucks, Nets, and Celtics are over .500 and it’s not hard to figure out why when you have sequences like the one the Raptors and Celtics had last night.

Watch as both teams go up and down the court throwing up garbage shots before Brad Stevens decided that he had seen enough and called a timeout to stop the madness.

Bad basketball, no other way to slice it.

These teams will need to start turning things around as All-Star weekend approaches and more teams are playoff hopeful.
