Pretty good start for an opening postseason day, huh?

Following a walk off homer and another near comeback in Atlanta, the Major League Baseball Divisional Series shifts to Game 2 for a pair of games on Wednesday, Oct. 12. The Atlanta Braves are quickly behind in the series and will be facing arguably the Philadelphia Phillies best arm in Game 2 in Zack Wheeler.

Meanwhile, the San Diego Padres look to even their series with the Los Angeles Dodgers before heading home to San Diego after losing 5-3 in Game 1.

Here is the full weather forecast for both games to ensure that you are full prepared to bet on Wednesday's slate:

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves Game 2 Weather

  • FORECAST: 69 degrees, 46% chance of rain, wind blowing 5 MPH right to left, no betting impact

There's a chance of rain all afternoon and into the evening in Atlanta, which could lead to a delay during the course of the game. Considering it's not supposed to taper off until later in the night, a longer delay could lead to a lot of bullpen activity and potentially more runs.

As for the wind, it doesn't appear that it will be playing a major role in this one.

San Diego Padres vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Game 2 Weather

  • FORECAST: 74 degrees and clear, wind blowing out at 7 mph, helping the over

Rain won't be a factor out west as it is projected to be pristine conditions on Wednesday night as the MLB's best team looks to put their NL West foe in a 2-0 hole.

With the wind blowing out there could be some big fly's in order for both the Dodgers and Padres, each team has big bats in the lineup capable of taking the other deep. With favorable weather, an over play could be in store.
