I guess Pennigton said he wanted to be back in Miami next year even if it's a backup role. This is great and what options could that bring. Rotoworld was reporting that there could be interest in Pennington in AZ, and that if Miami signs Pennington there could be a trade value for Thigpen to Buffalo, for Gailey who was his 2008 OC in KC.

And who said the off-season is boring...LOL

Interesting, the Jets are talking about having Penny back as a backup and mentor to Sanchex

Some how I don't see Penny going back to the Jets. Unless the Jets make an offer that he just couldn't refuse. I think if the Dolphins come close to matching any offer that is made Penny would prefer to stay here.

All bets are off if a team offers him a shot as starter.

I wonder if Thigpen would have any value for a trade? I think we got him for a 7th and can't imagine anyone would offer more than that. Of course that is if Penny stays. It's obvious we won't trade White...he is brittle right now...LOL.

If i'm not mistaken, we gave up a fifth for Thigpen..a bit steep if you ask me, but i think he would be a pretty good QB working out of the Wildcat. My problem is i'm one of those who feel we should be moving away from the Wildcat, as it seems to at times take the regular QB out of his rhythm.
BTW, i'm all for Penny coming back in a backup role (obviously only if completely healthy) but i'm not sure there's much, if any trade value for Thigpen or White (Big 2nd round mistake!!)

We did give a 5th. I believe Buff would give a 4th or more for Thigpen. Stay tuned.

I would not give up on White just yet. He could make a difference this year. JMO
