Yesterday, Monday, October 15th was Columbus Day – a holiday which is meant to honor the arrival of Christopher Columbus to what would eventually become the United States.

The holiday is celebrated strongly in some portions of the country and not celebrated at all in other parts, though clearly the Charlotte Bobcats cheer squad, better known as the LadyCats were feeling quite festive as they decided they’d all wear camouflage gear for their rehearsal last evening.

Because, you know, Christoper Columbus was all about that camo.

I’m not going to give the girls too hard of a time here though considering they did it was good intentions and anybody who supports the troops gets a thumbs up in my book. I mean, they thought they were doing something sweet, so, hard to give them any grief for that.

Still, that doesn’t change the amusement of the whole situation.

Next time they might want to bust out some knickers, a few robes and some wigs though if they’re going to be going for accuracy.
