2. Ladarius Green-San Diego Chargers

The Chargers second TE is emerging as a legitimate TE1 option after a few big weeks and an increasing role in the Chargers pass-happy offense. He’s received five or more targets the last three weeks and played as many snaps as Antonio Gates this last week against Cincinnati. He’s found the end zone the last two weeks with 125 yards total on his five catches.

In the next two weeks, Green is in a position to succeed against the Giants this week who allow the ninth most fantasy points to opposing tight ends followed by a trip to Denver to face the Broncos who allow the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.

Green’s still owned in less than one percent of ESPN leagues and does represent some serious risk, but if he performs well in the next two weeks, he’ll be a good play in one-week championships against the Raiders in week 16. If your league does use week 17, he has a bad matchup against the Chiefs who allow the fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends in the league.
