Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 16 playoffs
2. Michael Crabtree-WR-San Francisco 49ers (25.3%)
Crabtree did find the end zone last week against the Bucs for the first time this season and continues to grow back into his role with the ‘Niners after missing the first 12 weeks of the season. He had five catches for 45 yards to go with his touchdown giving him 40 yards or more in all three of the games he’s played.
There’s risk in playing Crabtree this week since he still may be less than 100%, but he’s in a great matchup and looks to be getting his legs back under him. He and San Francisco take on Atlanta who allowed 381 yards and a trio of touchdowns to the Redskins and Kirk Cousins on Sunday. Crabtree should be able to torch the Falcons secondary for a big week, and he has even more upside than Wright although there more risk in starting him since Wright has been more reliable over the course of the season.
