When the Florida State Seminoles learned they would be playing the Auburn Tigers and not the Alabama Crimson Tide in the National Championship, there was a collective sigh of relief across Tallahassee, but everyone seems to have underrated Auburn in the most severe of ways.

After watching their defense allow the Tigers to leap out to a 21-3 lead, the Noles finally answered with a solid drive before halftime which featured a brilliant run by Jameis Winston that ended in a Devonta Freeman touchdown run.

The game is still young, and the Auburn lead of 21-3 has been sliced to 21-10 but the game is still being controlled by the Tigers. Florida State is hungry and angry though and could come to of the half firing on all cylinders.
