Friday night will be a monumental night for Florida State University. We’ll know for sure whether this is good or bad as the school is set to unveil the new logo they’ve come up with, as well as the new uniforms, two decisions that have drawn some wrath from the fan base.

Whether the fans are happy or not doesn’t really matter at this point as the change is happening whether they like it or not, and that fact has now become very real as the new Chief Osceola is now painted on the turf of Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium:

The new logo was originally leaked when it was found on a t-shirt at a local Wal-Mart, and immediately the outcries for the change not to happen rained down.

The defending national champion Seminoles will take the field on Saturday for their annual spring game at 3 PM ET on ESPN as they get set for the 2014 campaign.
