The NCAA Selection Committee unveiled the list of 64 teams who will be participating in the 2014 NCAA men’s baseball tournament over the next few weeks as they try to earn their way into the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.

It is a long, grueling road for the teams that are involved, with plenty of games ahead on the schedule.

How does the Road to the College World Series work?

Here is all of the information you will need to know from the NCAA’s official website:

"Sixteen, four-team Regionals will be conducted at non-predetermined sites. All regional tournaments are double-elimination with sixteen teams advancing to Super Regionals.Eight, two team Super Regionals will be played at non-predetermined sites. The Super Regionals are a best-of-three series. Winners of the eight super regional tournaments will qualify for the Men’s College World Series in Omaha, Neb. Full details of CWS matchups will be determined on June 11."

As the bracket notes, the top eight seeds in the tournament are as follows:

1. Oregon St. (42-12)
2. Florida (40-21)
3. Virginia (44-13)
4. Indiana (42-13)
5. Florida St. (43-15)
6. La.-Lafayette (53-7)
7. TCU (42-15)
8. LSU (44-14-1)
