Seahawks’ Russell Wilson sacked at Redskins’ 46 yard line

I’d like to write more open letter to Russell Wilson, but I’ll refrain for everyone else’s sakes. Let’s instead just take a look at this, and internally cringe for him together.

I really think that this is the only moment throughout the game where I looked at Russell Wilson and thought “oh, that’s not what was supposed to happen”. This game has been an absolute stomping on the Seattle end, so it’s nice to take note of the fact that even the defending Super Bowl champions are humans, too.

Of course, this happened about fifteen seconds before the Seahawks scored a second touchdown (which didn’t count), then followed up with a kick and a third touchdown (which actually did count).

The game may be 17-7 right now, but trust me- it’s not for lack of Russell Wilson looking perfect. Keep doing you, Russell Wilson. Please, continue to prove me right in my pregame predictions- I said you’d walk away tonight with a 41-20 victory, and I’d like to be able to pretend that I spent hours analyzing old game tapes to come to that conclusion. Don’t let this happen again, Russell Wilson.
